Academic Culture Assembly

The Academic Culture Assembly is a programming group, funding source, and congregating forum for academic interests and student organizations. We are dedicated to issues-based inquiry and critical dialogue, and plan a variety of programs that focus on things from current events to academic support. Since academics have a wide range of application, we are highly flexible and broad in scope – expect to see us act in many different capacities and functions!

Mission Statement:

The Academic Culture Assembly encourages the pursuit of learning through interdisciplinary exploration and programming. ACA strives to remind students that learning is fun by fostering an inclusive environment that promotes curiosity and conversations beyond the classroom. ACA is an umbrella organization for academic student organizations on campus, providing a community of support, guidance, and funding for member organizations.

Previous programs have included our annual research banquet Beyond Books, the Academic Race, Study Nights, TEDxTrousdale, and speaker events featuring phenomenal leaders such as Bill Nye, Steve Wozniak and Neil deGrasse Tyson, among many more!
How to Get Involved

We’re looking for motivated students that are interested in helping create an intellectual and intelligent environment on campus by putting on exciting events year-round.
