It plans a variety of events at USC, from the Welcome Back Concert to the International Food Fair. Program Board represents a diverse group of student interests and organizations, and its student-run committees aim to promote diversity, awareness, and entertainment through progressive and unique event programming.

Program Board positions available for the 2012-2013 academic year include:

Administration Position

• Public Relations Assistant Director
• Webmaster

Qualifications

• Full time undergraduate student enrolled in at least 12 units
• Must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5

Completed applications must include this application form, attached essay answers (both general and specific), and a professional resume. All applications must be submitted by 6:00pm on Friday, April 13th.

Continue reading »]]> iVoice is USC’s first ever international singing competition held to serve as a platform for talented student singers on campus. International as well as domestic students are invited to audition and sing in any language they wish with the idea of uniting international and domestic students through music and breaking down cultural barriers.

The event will be judged by American Idol finalist Andrew Garcia and YouTube singer JRA, both of whom will also be performing during the competition. The top 12 singers will compete for the ultimate prize of an opportunity to make a video with Andrew Garcia or JRA. Did wealso mention that the MCs of the event will be the famously funny Fung Brothers! Come out for a night you’ll never forget and a meet & greet session with Andrew Garcia, JRA, and the Fung Brothers after the competition! See you there!!

USC Program Board Speakers Committee would like to invite you for an exciting night with Josh Radnor – TED- from How I Met Your Mother!!!

Radnor will be speaking and hosting a conversation with students in attendance. Moderated by USC student Monica Parra.

Josh Radnor is perhaps best known for his role as Ted, the central character on CBS’s Emmy- nominated comedy HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, but Radnor’s talents extend beyond acting, and he has quickly established himself as both a gifted writer and director.

Radnor’s second film as a director LIBERAL ARTS, which he also wrote and stars in alongside Elizabeth Olsen, Richard Jenkins and Allison Janney, premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and was acquired by IFC Films. It will be released later this year.

Radnor wrote, directed and starred in his first feature film HAPPTHANKYOUMOREPLEASE, featuring an ensemble cast including Richard Jenkins, Malin Akerman, Kate Mara, Zoe Kazan, and Tony Hale. The film debuted at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award for Favorite U.S. Drama. The film was released in March 2011 by Anchor Bay.

In addition to film and television, Radnor starred on Broadway as the title character in “The Graduate” opposite Kathleen Turner and Alicia Silverstone. Off-Broadway and regionally, he has appeared at the Manhattan Theater Club, The Vineyard Theater, and Baltimore Center Stage, among others.

Radnor has had several articles published in the Los Angeles Times Magazine.He has also written for Guilt and Pleasure Magazine, Moviemaker Magazine, Indiewire, and The Huffington Post.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Radnor attended Kenyon College where he won the Paul Newman Acting Trophy. He received his M.F.A. in acting from N.Y.U.’s Tisch School of the Arts. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
